Business Law Program A Project of Designated Funds

The Business Law Program was established to facilitate innovative teaching, practical experience, and scholarship in the fields of corporate governance, business organization law, securities regulation, tax, business transactions, and related areas. Its primary goal is to prepare students for careers in business law. The Business Law Program seeks to prepare students by addressing three major facets of their training: academic curriculum, experiential learning, and professional development. Since its inception, the program has provided students with the legal, practical, and ethical skills necessary to advise and represent businesses in an increasingly complex environment, as well as the opportunity to engage in critical and creative thinking about cutting-edge issues in business law.

How can you help?

Annual gifts support areas of our Business Law Program that are part of a cutting-edge curriculum which prepares our students for the challenges of an ever-changing market. The faculty, staff, and students at Maryland Carey Law's Business Law program are engaged and proactive. Faculty and students take advantage of abundant opportunities to hone their intellectual and practical skills, both in and out of the classroom. Your support enhances every aspect of our experiential learning opportunities, from the symposia that draw leading scholars and judges from around the country to student organizations and moot court competitions.

With your gift, you become a partner in training the next generation of business lawyers. Our students will uphold and shape the rule of law and advance our individual and shared wealth in business and industry.

Your support demonstrates your commitment to the law school and the Business Law Program, and ensures that generations of students will continue to benefit from a Maryland Carey Law education.
