Law & Health Care Program A Project of Designated Funds
A pioneer in health care law, the Law & Health Care Program (L&HCP) combines education and research on emerging medical, health policy, and legal matters, addressing health law issues from both legal and interdisciplinary perspectives, and capitalizes on access to the state and federal government. We have always been recognized as one of the nation's top health law programs.
This honor is a strong incentive to continue our mission as a top-flight educational and research center and we will continue to meet the growing demand for lawyers and policymakers capable of addressing this increasingly complex field.
How can you help?
Your donation will help the Law & Health Care Program to continue to excel in teaching, research, and scholarship.
Funding for scholarship allows our professors who focus on mental health law to collaborate with faculty who are focused on neuroscience and addiction to explore issues surrounding adolescent health care decision-making.
Your support gives the Law & Health Care Program the ability to host conferences on various health policy issues, bringing together experts in the field of law, medicine, and health policy. It allows our faculty to participate in scholarly debate and public policy initiatives at local, state, national, and international levels. Our students are able to interact, network, and learn first-hand by participating and presenting at these conferences, activities, and other events.
